A photographer for over 30 years, Gary Pennington began shooting professionally in 1994. For several years he was an advertising and promotional photographer with Lancaster Newspapers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. With several thousand advertising images published, Gary's work has appeared in a variety of publications including the New York Times and Downeast Magazine. In addition, Gary's editorial images have appeared in national publications as varied as Fiberarts Magazine and Open Wheel Magazine.

A former film photographer, Gary now has a completely digital workflow from the camera or scanner to the final print, PowerPoint or ready-for-web image file. His prints are made with the latest Ultra Chrome inks on the best papers that together have a life expectancy similar to the best conventional printing processes. Gary's personal photography has been shown locally at Maine Audubon, the University of New England, The Chocolate Church, Skillins and Bookland.
